India Club, Dubai hosts dinner for
Mr. Jaipal Reddy - India’s Union Minister
of Petroleum & Natural Gas
The Chairman of India Club Dr. Ram Buxani welcomed
Mr. Jaipal Reddy - India’s Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural
Gas to India Club at a dinner function hosted in his honour on
Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Ashoka Complex.
Mr. Jaipal Reddy is representing India at the World Energy Forum
held in Dubai. Also present at the function were H.E. M. K. Lokesh -
Indian Ambassador to UAE and H.E. Sanjay Verma - Consul General
of India, Dubai, Mr. R. S. Butola - Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation,
Mr. Vivekananda, Member of Parliament, Members of the Indian
delegation, India Club Board of Trustees and India Club Members.

While speaking at the occasion, H.E. M. K. Lokesh
said that Mr. Jaipal Reddy holds a key portfolio in the
cabinet during the most important period of time. The
Indian Ambassador also mentioned that India is the
second largest importer of oil and petroleum from UAE
and the trade ties between the two countries have got
better by the day.

H.E. Sanjay Verma, while addressing the gathering,
welcomed Mr. Jaipal Reddy - Minister of Petroleum
and Natural Gas, Mr. R. S. Butola - Chairman of Indian
Oil Corporation and the delegation from India to the
UAE for the World Energy Forum. The Consul General
of India also wished the Minister a pleasant stay in
Dubai and wished the delegation success at the
World Energy Forum.
