CHANGING LIVES
EVERY SINGLE DAY
What do you get when you cross a stay-at-home mom of eight
years with a former registered dental hygienist and a managing
director of an investment firm? If you guessed that it would be two
very busy parents running a household full of kids with good teeth,
whose family was well on their way to finding the potential for financial
freedom, you would be right. However, the potential of obtaining
financial freedom was not secured by either of the professions
previously listed; it only became a very real possibility through our
involvement with a wonderful company named Arbonne.
Arbonne came along just as we were contemplating a future filled
with the expenses of raising children and providing for their necessities
such as medical and dental coverage, extracurricular activities
and college tuition. A dear friend of ours shared the Arbonne
opportunity so proficiently that it only took us five minutes to decide
this was for us and to jump in. We both saw it as a potential way
to achieve financial freedom that we could do together as a team.
With our homemade partnership, we believed it would be easier to
share Arbonne with our family and friends who were looking for the
same things we were.
Building an Arbonne business together required us to make a lot of
changes in our household. Because we would be equal partners in
business responsibilities, we were compelled to create an equal balance
in the personal and family responsibilities that we shared. We
worked as a team in every aspect of our lives right down to deciding
how we would use our time and money. Because of this, we
found that we were spending more time as a family and less time
doing our separate hobbies and activities. Arbonne created a bond
that extended far beyond just building a business.
On top of that, having an Arbonne home-based business has many
tax advantages, and has even allowed us to do many good things
at our own expense. We have tried to focus on causes that the
whole family can be a part of. We now have time to volunteer to
teach kids on Sunday mornings and coach our children’s Little
League teams. These unexpected blessings make it all worthwhile.
As our upline predicted, achieving success with our Arbonne business
was incredible, but seeing our team succeed was even better!
Each month as we promote new Managers, we realize that we have
had a hand in changing these lives for the better. What we could
have never imagined were all the different reasons that people have
success strategy:
Lend an ear to your upline and
a hand to your team.
for doing this business. Many on our team are looking for an alternative
to the usual 9-to-5 job. Others are drawn to the amazing
people in this business and will tell you that personal growth ranks
high for them. Some want to get out of the house, while others want
the chance to spend more time at home. Whatever the motivation,
we are all in agreement that everyone can benefit from Arbonne.
We relish the idea that many people now have choices that they
might not otherwise have had.
Although achieving RVP is awesome, we know that NVP will be
even better because it will mean that more people are enjoying
great products and are a step closer to living the American dream!
To NVP Jessica Thionnet: We love you! When we were assigned to
welcome your family to our school, we knew God had something
big in mind for both families. Thank you for being so generous with
your time and talents and providing some creative last-minute play
dates for the kids. They love you, too. Thank you for having a bold
faith and a big dream!
To ENVP Kristi Sivigliano: How could we do anything but succeed
with you on our side? You are strong and courageous, and your
enthusiasm is contagious! Thank you for your leadership and whatever-it-takes
attitude that has helped us work until the last minute and
kept us from quitting before payday.
To our upline, ERVP Debbie Fleener, NVP Janet Flores and ERVP
Shelly Gitthens: You all are so amazing. Thank you for your awesome
training and belief, and for paving the way to success for so many.
To AM Barbie Bales: What a friend you have been! You were there
when we married and when we became parents. You literally flew
off our “chicken list” and into our business with a determination that
will take you to the top. You are a great leader. We love you, Dan
and all your dogs!
David Gipson, Stephanie Ames, Gina Barry, Mary Ann Jones and
Victoria McMullen: You all have what it takes. Always remember, if
you can go District, you can go Nation! Your Why has become as
important to us as our Why. We love you all.
To ENVP Cecilia Stoll: Thank you for continuing to share the
Arbonne opportunity with such passion, for going the extra mile to
train us every month and for being honest in your expectations of
us. Your faith is reflected in your generous spirit!
To our Why — our children, Jack and Lilly: What a privilege it is to
be your parents! One look at you makes us want to be the best in
every way. You fill our days with an amazing mix of joy, humor,
challenge and love. Jack, you are the man! We are so proud of you.
Everything you do, you do with all your heart. You keep us on our
toes and in stitches at the same time. Whether you are on a snowboard
or studying for a spelling test, you manage to make every
day an adventure. We love you, J.R.. Lilly, you are the princess of
our castle. You are fearless and fun and will never have enough
pets. We will never forget the look we got at the Mercedes-Benz
dealership when we told them your lizard was somewhere in our
new car! God made you as beautiful on the outside as you are on
the inside and we love you, Lil.
Each time we hear a new Why from someone on our team that has
realized one dream and is moving on to the next, we are humbled.
The daily activity of working this business changes lives every day.
Do something massive for someone else and pass on what you have
learned. Help enough people be successful and you will achieve
success. Work your business part time if you need to, but not sometimes.
Be thankful for this gift of Arbonne by sharing it with others.
