Twin Thermostat Explanation & Accessories Both closed Centaflex Coupling/ Propellor/Shaft CENTAFLEX-R is one of the quietest, most reliable transmission couplings in the market. Compatible with all engine and gearbox types, the couplings eliminate vibration from the engine and gearbox, substantially reducing transmission noise. Engine Block Engine Start Up Both thermostats closed / Coolant flows through water cooled manifold / Coolant heated in exhaust manifold returns to engine / Engine has a very quick warm up time, this results in reduced engine wear and longer life, reduced emissions and more efficient fuel consumption from start up Feed to calorifier First open Shaft Seal This has been specially designed for use on the inland waterways. Originally developed for use on commercial craft on the Mississippi River, this seal has been successfully used on the inland waterways.
