After a summer that many used
to relax and recharge it was time
again in September for our groups
to start regular meetings, programs
and events. The SGC has also a
number of meetings and events on
its agenda which started in September.
As usual, there was a meeting
in October with our SGC members
in Davidson. A complete report will
be given in the next edition of the
Postillion. The name of the meeting
was changed from Presidents’
Meeting to Round Table. The new
name suits the type of meeting
much better and accommodates and
addresses not only the presidents of
SGC member groups.
Our SGC president and executive
director will partake in the annual
SaskCulture Meeting in Moose Jaw
at the end of October. The topic this
year is “Assess & Address for Continued
Success”. We surely will hear
and learn many new things which
we will be able to use and implement
in our organisation as well.
In November the Board of Directors
will meet in Saskatoon. Part of the
meeting will be the general business
of the Council. If you have questions
for the Board of Directors or
things you would like the Board to
discuss, send an e-mail to our president

org) or contact the office.
Finally, I would like to point out
that the Postillion, starting with the
next issue, will have a new design.
So be curious about the changes and
don’t be surprised when the “new”
Postillion arrives in your mailbox in
December.

Nach einem Sommer, den viele zur
Erholung und zum Energie tanken
nutzen konnten, fingen viele Gruppen
mit ihren regelmäßigen Treffen,
ihren Programmen und Unternehmungen
im September wieder an.
Auch bei SGC stehen vom September
an wieder viele Versammlungen
und Veranstaltungen auf dem Terminplan.
Wie immer fand im Oktober
ein Meeting mit SGC Mitgliedern in
Davidson statt. Einen vollständigen
Bericht dazu wird es in der nächsten
Ausgabe geben. Das Meeting wurde
von Presidents‘ Meeting in Round
Table umbenannt. Dieser Name
entspricht eher der Art des Treffens
und ist vor allem weiter gefasst, um

nicht nur die Präsidenten der SGC
Mitgliedsorganisationen anzusprechen.
Die SGC Präsidentin und Geschäftsführerin
werden Ende Oktober an
SaskCulture’s jährlichem Treffen in
Moose Jaw teilnehmen. Das Thema
dieses Jahr lautet „Assess & Address
for Continued Success“. Sicherlich
werden wir viele Dinge erfahren
und lernen, die sich auch in
unserer Organisation anwenden und
verwirklichen lassen werden.
Im November trifft sich der SGC
Vorstand in Saskatoon. Dabei geht
es immer auch um die Richtung
des Council’s. Wenn Sie Fragen an
den SGC Vorstand haben oder des
Dinge gibt die Sie denken die der
Vorstand besprechen sollte, dann

Zum Schluß möchte ich Sie noch
darauf hinweisen, dass wir mit der
nächsten Ausgabe des Postillion ein
neues Design vorstellen werden.
Seien Sie also gespannt und nicht
verwundert, wenn der „neue“ Postillion
im Dezember in Ihrem Briefkasten
steckt und ganz anders aussieht.
