フィズムが 関 係 していると 思 われる 分 野 は 広 く( 図 4)、<br />
その 応 用 研 究 の 重 要 性 は 高 い。 水 のポリアモルフィズ<br />
ムの 理 解 が 進 めば、 各 分 野 で 行 き 詰 っていた 諸 問 題 が<br />
打 開 でき、 複 雑 な 現 象 も 簡 素 化 できるかもしれない。<br />
水 のポリアモルフィズムにはそれだけの 可 能 性 が 潜 在<br />
していると、 私 は 思 っている。<br />
最 後 に、ポリアモルフィズムは 水 に 限 った 現 象 では<br />
なく、 他 の 物 質 にも 確 認 されている。 23-25 ポリアモルフ<br />
ィズムの 概 念 は 乱 れた 系 ( 特 にガラスや 非 晶 質 )の 見<br />
方 を 大 きく 変 革 し、 物 質 ・ 材 料 分 野 での 発 展 も 大 いに<br />
期 待 されるだけではなく、 全 く 思 いもよらない 分 野 に<br />
展 開 される 可 能 性 があることも 指 摘 しておく。<br />
