USE IT YOURSELF<br />
Planning to visit your home resort?<br />
1. For floating week Owners, call 1-800-925-9999 and request a reservation for your preferred<br />
travel dates. Remember, we want to ensure you have the opportunity to come home to your<br />
resort when it is best for you, so please call ahead since requests are honored on a first-come,<br />
first-served basis.<br />
2. If you own a fixed week and will be traveling during your scheduled week, simply call<br />
1-800-925-9999 and a vacation consultant will be more than happy to assist you in finalizing<br />
your vacation plans. You may also confirm your reservation through their Online Account<br />
Management (OAM) account at www.westgateowners.com.<br />
EXCHANGE<br />
You have two options:<br />
1. Stay at your home resort at a time other than your scheduled week or stay at another <strong>Westgate</strong><br />
property by doing a “Developer Exchange.” Just tell us when you would like to visit by placing a<br />
service request online through your Online Account Management (OAM) account at<br />
www.westgateowners.com or by contacting us at 1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105. *<br />
2. Exchange your week through Interval International or <strong>Westgate</strong> Cruise and Travel Program<br />
and travel the world. Please contact us at 1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105 and we will be<br />
more than happy to assist you. Owners may place a service request online through your Online<br />
Account Management (OAM) account at www.westgateowners.com.<br />

How To Use Your Timeshare<br />
It’s as easy as picking up the phone or sending an e-mail to let us know you’re coming. And<br />
if you want to exchange your week, either for a different <strong>Westgate</strong> week or through Interval<br />
International or the <strong>Westgate</strong> Cruise and Travel Program, we’ll “walk” you through the process.<br />
Helpful Tips<br />
• Check-in days vary, depending on the resort. Because we want to give you the greatest<br />
opportunity to obtain what your family needs for your vacation plans, please call<br />
1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105 and confirm at least 6 months in advance of your desired<br />
visit. If your vacation needs have changed, please refer to pages 45 and 46.<br />
• Would you like to come back to your home resort at a time other than the week you own? Or<br />
would you like to try another <strong>Westgate</strong> Resort? Contact us at 1-800-925-9999 or<br />
407-355-1105. Mention you would like to do a “Developer Exchange” and we’ll do the rest!<br />

account at www.westgateowners.com.<br />
• To enjoy usage of your villa, please make sure all annual fees associated with the occupancy<br />
year of deposit are current prior to your arrival.<br />
• <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> is pleased to welcome its Owners to exchange their current week for a week<br />
at another <strong>Westgate</strong> Resort through our Developer Exchange Program. We have spacious<br />
villas available and a variety of exciting experiences for you and your family to enjoy, whether<br />
it be visiting the theme parks in Orlando, FL; skiing in Park City; shopping in Las Vegas, NV;<br />
soaking up the sun in Myrtle Beach, SC; and much, much more.<br />
• If you own a “lock-off” villa, please read the “Lock-Off Info” listed on the respective Resort<br />
Information Page in this booklet. This will help you get the most out of your <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong><br />
ownership. Use only the part of your villa you need and deposit the rest for future use!<br />
• Check-in begins at 4 p.m. Contact us at 1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105 if you’ll be arriving<br />
late or you have special needs such as a highchair or crib. You may also place a service ticket<br />
online through your Online Account Management (OAM) account at<br />
www.westgateowners.com.<br />
• Deposits required at check-in: $50 hold placed on a major credit or debit card (the release of<br />
this hold may take longer if using a debit card), or $200 cash deposit if you or your guest does<br />
not have a credit/debit card.<br />
• If you are giving your villa to a friend or relative as a gift to use, it is important to call us at<br />
1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105 at least 60 days in advance of arrival and let us know. You<br />
can also send an email with your guest’s name, address, and phone number under the service<br />
request link at www.westgateowners.com.<br />
• Planning on traveling the world? To exchange your week with Interval International or<br />
<strong>Westgate</strong> Cruise and Travel Program or any other exchange company, payment of the annual<br />
fees associated with the occupancy year of deposit is required.<br />

1. Q. How can I check availability to use my week? How else can I contact you or book?<br />
A. For your convenience, you can log on to www.westgateowners.com and click on<br />
“Reservation Requests” to submit your Travel Date request or check availability with a Vacation<br />
Specialist over the phone at (800) 925-9999 option 3 or 407-355-1105.<br />
2. Q. My dates aren’t available at <strong>Westgate</strong>, what can I do?<br />
A. All reservation requests are based on availability and subject to change at any time.<br />
Alternate dates may be available at other <strong>Westgate</strong> Resort locations. As another option<br />
you may check availability for the requested dates with the exchange companies Interval<br />
International or RCI.<br />
3. Q. How can I use my week for a cruise?<br />
A. <strong>Westgate</strong> offers the ability for exchange toward the purchase of a cruise vacation with a<br />
membership through the <strong>Westgate</strong> Cruise and Travel Collection (formerly ICE Gallery).<br />
• You must deposit your week at least 90 days prior to your occupancy week and up to two years out; however,<br />
you can book your cruise for last minute travel or up to a year in advance.<br />
• For membership information, please call <strong>Westgate</strong> Cruise and Travel Collection at (800) 572-6169.<br />
• The cruise request allows you to check availability and rates without committing to a deposit. If you do not<br />
find a cruise you wish to take, you will still have your week available to use with <strong>Westgate</strong>.<br />
• How to Trade Your Resort Week:<br />

Make sure you are depositing a Qualified Resort Week (see below).<br />

• What is a Qualified Resort Week?<br />

Your resort week is required to be deposited at least six (6) months prior to the check-in date .<br />
àà<br />
All fees including your HOA fees must be current.<br />
• Why Deposit Your Resort Week?<br />
àà<br />
Enjoy substantial savings on cruises with your exchange.<br />
àà<br />
Receive exchange pricing on up to six cabins so you can invite friends and family.<br />
àà<br />
All major cruise lines and worldwide itineraries available.<br />
àà<br />
Take up to two years to use your deposited week.<br />
Should your week be ineligible to deposit with an exchange company, you will have the<br />
option to bank your week with <strong>Westgate</strong> to be held for up to two years.<br />
4. Q. I haven’t decided on a location or dates, how long do I have? How late or far in<br />
advance can I book?<br />
A. Reservation requests may be booked at the last minute or up to 11 months in advance.<br />
Reservation requests are based on availability and are first-come, first-serve. For the Peak<br />
travel dates, we recommend booking 11 months in advance from the travel dates.<br />

5. Q. How long do I have to decide whether to bank my week with II or RCI?<br />
A. You must deposit your week at least 60 days in advance from the start of your week to<br />
avoid late deposit restrictions.<br />

If you are a Float Owner, this means 60 days before the end of your deeded season.<br />
àà<br />
If you are a Fixed Owner, this means 60 days in advance from your deeded week.<br />
Should your week be ineligible to deposit with an exchange company, you will have the<br />
option to bank your week with <strong>Westgate</strong> to be held for up to two years.<br />
6. Q. What does “deposit” or “bank” mean?<br />
A. Placing your week on “deposit” or “bank” with the developer, <strong>Westgate</strong>, or an external<br />
exchange company (such as Interval International or RCI) notifies us that you do not have<br />
intentions of using your ownership as deeded-either within the year or at the home resort.<br />
<strong>Westgate</strong> will hold your current year’s usage week, as a courtesy, for two years from the start<br />
of your usage week, with the required developer exchange fee (upgrade fees may apply) due<br />
when you get ready to use it.<br />
In order to deposit your week with an exchange company, please verify that your membership<br />
with the selected exchange company is up to date.<br />
Both Interval International and RCI will hold your current or future year’s usage week for two<br />
years from the start of your usage week with a required exchange fee, due upon use.<br />
7. Q. I’m not ready to use my week now or this year, what are my options?<br />
A. You may choose to deposit or bank your week with <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong>, or an exchange<br />
company (such as Interval International, <strong>Westgate</strong> Cruise and Travel, or RCI). There is a required<br />
developer exchange fee (upgrade fees may apply) due when you are ready to use your week.<br />
Please note: exchange companies have affiliation agreements with specific resorts.<br />
<strong>Westgate</strong> will hold your current year’s usage week for two years from the start of your usage<br />
week, with the required developer exchange fee (upgrade fees may apply) due when you<br />
get ready to use it.<br />
8. Q. I want to travel with <strong>Westgate</strong>, but not where I own. How can I do that?<br />
A. You may exchange to other <strong>Westgate</strong> properties by contacting a Vacation Specialist<br />
directly at (800)-925-9999 or 407-355-1105. The Resort check-in days vary by resort. The<br />
check-in days are Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Please be advised the developer exchange fee<br />
will be due at the time of booking (applicable fees and restrictions may apply). You can also<br />
place a service request online through your Online Account Management (OAM) account at<br />
www.westgateowners.com.<br />
9. Q. Can I make my monthly mortgage and HOA payments online?<br />
A. Yes. Visit www.westgateowners.com and proceed to the “<strong>Westgate</strong> Owners” section.<br />
Choose “Make Payment” and enter all required information.<br />

10. Q. My contract has a week number, but I don’t want to travel then. I thought I had a<br />
float week?<br />
A. Floating Owners may see week numbers documented in their Unit description. This week<br />
is assigned for deeding purposes. You may elect to “float” your week for any available dates<br />
within your deeded season. Please note seasons vary by resort. You can find this information<br />
on the resort pages.<br />
11. Q. I own a Four Bedroom Lock-Off but don’t need the whole unit right now. What are<br />
my options?<br />
A. When choosing to lock-off your unit into its smaller components for additional weeks, a<br />
lock-off fee will be required for each reservation, after the first one.<br />
Please refer to the Sub Unit description listed in your “contract” to verify how your unit may<br />
lock-off. For example, Four Bedroom Lock-Off with sub units ABC, may lock-off as A (two<br />
bedroom) and BC (two studios).<br />
For example:<br />
• <strong>Westgate</strong> Vacation Villas: A Two Bedroom Lock-Off can be split into a One Bedroom and a Studio.<br />
• <strong>Westgate</strong> Lakes Resort & Spa: A Three Bedroom Lock-Off can be split into a Two Bedroom and Studio.<br />
• <strong>Westgate</strong> Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa: A Three Bedroom Premium Pedestal Lock-Off can be split into a<br />
Two Bedroom and a One Bedroom. Alternately, it may also be split into three One Bedroom units.<br />
12. Q. Can I split my usage into reservations of less than seven nights?<br />
A. Several of <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong>’ floating plans allow for “split week usage.” This allows Owners<br />
to request two stays, one for three nights and one for four nights. There are restrictions on<br />
which days may be requested. To see if your resort offers a split week usage plan, refer to<br />
the resort information page in this Owners Guide.<br />
13. Q. My family/friend wants to use my timeshare, and I won’t be there.<br />
A. Should you choose to send a guest in your place, the following information is required for<br />
security purposes, prior to the guest’s arrival:<br />
• Name of guest checking in<br />
• Guest address<br />
• Guest phone number<br />
• Guest email address.<br />
Please confirm your guest’s arrival with a Vacation Specialist at (800) 925-9999 or<br />
407-355-1105.<br />
Please note:<br />
• Guests must be at least 18 years of age in order to check-in to the resort.<br />
• Guests will be required to have a credit/debit card on file with the Front Desk to hold a $50 security deposit<br />
or $200 cash deposit. A valid photo ID is required.<br />
• Guests who are not traveling with an Owner will not have Owner privileges while on property.<br />

14. Q. I only need to reserve a couple (or a few) days, not my week. How may I book?<br />
A. As an Owner you are entitled to book rental reservations at the discounted Owner rate<br />
of up to 30% off of the Best Available Rate. Although this discount is available to you for as<br />
many reservations as you choose to book throughout the year, the Owner rate is only for<br />
the deeded Owner up to two reservations at the same time.<br />

location and travel dates. Use promo code OWNER to view the exclusive Owner rates or call<br />
a Vacation Specialist at (800) 925-9999 or 407-355-1105.<br />
Float Owners may choose to split current weeks into 3 night and 4 night stays during the<br />
deeded year. Both reservations must be used within the current year as partial weeks do not<br />
rollover. An additional fee will apply to the second reservation.<br />
15. Q. My family/friend wants to use the resort, and I don’t want them to use my time.<br />
A. We offer the Owner Referral program. In this program, guests are given a discounted<br />
package to stay at the resort. Your referral will take a 90 minute resort preview. Should your<br />
referral purchase, you will receive a credit usable for your mortgage or Owner association<br />
fees. Please contact a Specialist in the Owner Referral department at 800-766-8455.<br />
16. Q. I received a Bonus Week certificate when I purchased, how can I use it?<br />
A. <strong>Westgate</strong> Rewards Bonus Week Certificate allows you to utilize timeshare vacation<br />
options prior to the actual start of your ownership. You may reserve either a Studio Villa,<br />
One Bedroom Villa, or Two Bedroom Villa at participating <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong>. This certificate is<br />
available for use from 6 and up to 18 months from the purchase date.<br />
17. Q. I own a holiday (event) week, but want to change my dates. How can I do that?<br />
A. Please be aware that because of the “fixed” status of your ownership, a pending reservation and<br />
reservation reminder are auto-generated by our system for the week which normally includes<br />
the holiday, or “event.”<br />
As an option, however, you may elect to “float your week to an alternate arrival date within the<br />
current year at the deeded home resort without an additional fee, if you notify <strong>Westgate</strong> at least<br />
thirty days prior to the arrival date. If requesting another Event Week, a fee is due to confirm.<br />
18. Q. Can I travel in a higher season or to a larger villa than the one I own?<br />
A. Yes. Upgrades are subject to availability and applicable villa upgrade fees and restrictions<br />
may apply. Please call a vacation specialist at 1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105 to discuss<br />
vacation options with one of our consultants. You can also place a service request online<br />
through your Online Account Management (OAM) account at www.westgateowners.com.<br />

19. Q. If I need a few additional nights, can I rent them and stay in the same villa?<br />
A. If we are not expecting another Owner in the villa you are occupying, there is the possibility<br />
that you can stay in the same villa for the extra nights. Please call 1-800-925-9999 to discuss<br />
options with one of our consultants or visit www.westgatedestinations.com to find the<br />
Owner discounted rental rate.<br />
20. Q. When is the HOA fee due?<br />
A. We encourage you to pay your HOA fee upon receipt. To avoid late fees, payments must be<br />
received no later than January 2nd of the year being billed. Complete information is included<br />
in the invoice(s) mailed. If you wish to deposit your week with Interval International, <strong>Westgate</strong><br />
Cruise and Travel, another exchange company, or if you would like to make a Developer<br />
Exchange, all fees must be paid prior to the due date. To use a confirmed reservation, a Float<br />
Week Owner must pay all HOA fees by the collection due date each calendar year or by thirty<br />
(30) days prior to check-in, whichever occurs earlier. Any reservation confirmed prior to the<br />
due date will be subject to cancellation if the Owner does not pay the fees by the due date.<br />
21. Q. Can I change which day of the week I am scheduled to check –in?<br />
A. At resorts utilizing the fixed week plan, Owners have a designated check-in day assigned.<br />
Under this plan, if you wish to travel the same week but arrive on a different day, it would<br />
require an exchange request and the payment of a Developer Exchange fee. At resorts<br />
utilizing the floating plan, both float and fixed week Owners have flexibility on check-in days<br />
according to availability. Please refer to your resort’s Public Offering Statement or contact us at<br />
1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105. You can also place a service request online through your<br />
Online Account Management (OAM) account at www.westgateowners.com.<br />
22. Q. Can I confirm my fixed week usage right online?<br />
A. Yes, visit www.westgateowners.com and visit the Owners section.<br />
23. Q. I need a larger villa because my family has grown.<br />
A. Please contact our Telesales department at 1-800-651-7606 or 407-355-1666 and they<br />
will give you information on how to upgrade to a larger villa to accommodate your needs.<br />

Creating and Registering an OAM User Account<br />
First time visitors to OAM will be<br />
required to create an OAM user<br />
account in order to access content<br />
inside the owner website.<br />
In order to create an OAM user<br />
account, owners will need to provide<br />
an eligible <strong>Westgate</strong> account number<br />
along with information to validate<br />
their <strong>Westgate</strong> account number<br />
(Bldg/Unit/Week, SSN, etc.). An email<br />
address, first and last name, password,<br />
and security word or phrase will also<br />
be required upon registration.<br />

Fixed Owners Confirming Reservation<br />
Once inside of OAM, Fixed Owners<br />
will have the option to confirm a<br />
pending fixed reservation. If Owners<br />
choose to confirm a reservation<br />
through the website, the reservation<br />
is automatically updated in the MR<br />
system.<br />
NOTE: The system will not allow the<br />

<strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> Foundation<br />
Established in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) organization whose<br />
mission is to actively support charities in areas where<br />
our team members live and work. Emphasis is placed<br />
on team members in need, children, women, families,<br />
seniors, veterans and other local programs that improve<br />
the quality of life in our resort communities.<br />
Since inception, the <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> Foundation has raised and distributed over $14 million.<br />
The Foundation is unique because every dollar is raised by <strong>Westgate</strong> Team Members, Executives,<br />
Owners, Guests and Business Partners. In addition, David Siegel, President and CEO of <strong>Westgate</strong><br />
<strong>Resorts</strong> has committed to covering all operating costs of the <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> Foundation and<br />
the David’s Dollars Foundation so that 100% of any money raised goes directly to a charity or<br />

In 2001, the Board of Directors of the <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> Foundation also created the David’s<br />
Dollars Foundation as a 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is to actively support <strong>Westgate</strong><br />
team members and individuals associated with <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> within the communities<br />
where our employees live and work during times of emergency, disaster or extreme need.<br />
In May of 2011, my mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. My employer, <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong>, was very<br />
supportive and understanding through this process. I was the only provider for my mother, sister, and five<br />
year old son. They always found a way to accommodate my schedule so that I was able to take care of my<br />
mother and work at the same time.<br />
As time went by, things got tougher because the diagnosis kept changing. Eventually it got to a point<br />
where it had metastasized throughout her entire body. With this final diagnosis, the doctor advised us<br />
my mother only had a couple more months to live. I immediately made the choice to request time off<br />
from work without pay in order to spend the time with my mother and take care of her. Unfortunately for<br />
us during that time, my mother passed away.<br />
Not only did I receive so many loving and supportive messages, the David’s Dollars Foundation also<br />
helped by paying my rent, utilities, car insurance, and a portion of my mother’s funeral expenses.<br />
I am honored to say I work for a company that appreciates their team members and values their work. It<br />
is rare to work for a company that takes the time to understand their team members’ personal situations<br />
and be vulnerable enough to sympathize with them.
CareForce Volunteer Program<br />
The <strong>Westgate</strong> CareForce provides volunteer help not only for <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong><br />
Foundation projects, but also to support the programs and events of charities<br />
in the local community. To date, over 15,000 hours of volunteer time have been<br />
given by members of the <strong>Westgate</strong> CareForce in support of charities located in<br />
our resort communities.<br />
The <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> Foundation spearheaded the formation of a<br />
hospitality industrywide task force called Hospitality Helps which<br />
encourages our colleagues to be part of a holistic solution for<br />
homeless families with children. The objective of Hospitality Helps<br />
is to create a sustainable program that gives these families the best<br />
opportunity to work themselves into self-sufficiency by giving them<br />
a “hand up, not a hand out.” As of today, over 50 companies in the<br />
hospitality and apartment industry as well as dozens of social service<br />
agencies are part of the network. In total, 172 families have been<br />
transitioned out of homelessness through the various programs<br />
offered by Hospitality Helps’ partners which include assistance with<br />
employment, housing, basic necessities such as clothing, furniture,<br />
and food, as well as ongoing case management services.<br />
Encouraging kindness and supporting those in need are important<br />
functions in the business of life. <strong>Westgate</strong>’s spirit of giving and compassion<br />
are evident not only when there is an unforeseen emergency, but also<br />
throughout the year as the <strong>Westgate</strong> <strong>Resorts</strong> Foundation supports<br />
hundreds of charities in our resort communities through financial<br />
contributions, in-kind donations and volunteer support.<br />

Bonus Week: Incentive given at time of sale. Restrictions apply; refer to certificate for complete details<br />
and availability. Owner pays a fixed amount to use this benefit.<br />
CSD: Customer Service Desk system allows Owners to make service requests directly to the appropriate<br />
departments via the <strong>Westgate</strong> Owners link on the www.westgateowners.com home page. (See<br />
pages 13-18)<br />
Developer Exchange: Either exchanging your reservation to dates other than what is owned or<br />
requesting to travel to an alternate <strong>Westgate</strong> property. (See page 45)<br />
Fixed Week / Fixed Unit: Fixed week / fixed unit Owners are entitled to their assigned unit during<br />
their assigned week.<br />
Fixed Week / Float Unit: At our floating week resorts, fixed week / float unit Owners are entitled to a<br />
unit of their assigned type during their assigned week. Pre-defined fixed week Owners are entitled to<br />
their assigned special event.<br />
Float Plan Disclosure (FPD): Changes have been made to the resort float plan. Please refer to your<br />
public offering statement (POS) as the float season weeks that you can reserve may differ from the<br />
current float plan that is listed in this guide.<br />
Float Week / Float Unit: Float week / float unit Owners are entitled to a unit of their assigned type<br />
during their assigned season.<br />
HOA Fees: Annual fees to Owners to cover the expense of operating the resort: staffing, utilities,<br />
insurance, supplies, etc. and ad valorem real estate taxes levied by the local government per timeshare<br />
interest.<br />
Lock-off Villas: Sometimes referred to as lockout villas, they are villas that allow Owners to separate<br />
their villa into more than one full week of usage. Refer to the lock-off guide on your home resort page.<br />
When utilizing the lock-off options, lock-off fees will apply.<br />
OAM: Online Account Management system allows Owners to make online mortgage and HOA<br />
payments, change or set up automatic payment options, and change mailing addresses. Owners can<br />
manage their reservations via the <strong>Westgate</strong> Owners link at www.westgateowners.com. (See pages<br />
13-18)<br />
Public Offering Statement (POS): Also known as Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCR) at<br />
some properties. These documents detail the rights and restrictions of Owners of each property. They<br />
are the legally binding policies to which the governing bodies have been made aware. They could be<br />
issued on CD-ROM or in booklet form.<br />
Special Event Weeks (SEW): Pre-defined fixed weeks at our floating week resorts have a designated<br />
special event associated with them. The Owner is entitled to the week that contains that designated<br />
special event. Please refer to your public offering statement (POS) for a list of special event weeks.<br />
Split Week Usage: This allows Owners to request two reservations totaling the seven nights of<br />
ownership, one reservation for three nights and the other for four nights. Restrictions on days<br />
