VOLKER HALL RENOVATIONS AND
EXPANSION
Construction on Volker Hall has begun, and the new addition is
starting to take shape—the elevator shaft has been constructed
and the floors are being framed. If you’re in the area, drive down
University Boulevard and take a look. Something new is happening
every day!
The development office is confident that the Volker Hall renovations
will have a positive impact on the UASOM, boosting the
school’s ability to recruit and train the best students and faculty
in their fields and give them the facilities they need to succeed.
Fund-raising is also in full swing. The development office has
received more than $70,000 in gifts, and alumni and friends have
pledged over $1,300,000 in future support.
The renovation and expansion of Volker Hall is a $40 million
project, of which the UASOM hopes to raise $10 million from private
