2.03.14. MH – Manufactured Home District<br />

(A) General Purpose and Description<br />

The MH – Manufactured Home District is a detached residential district establishing standards for<br />

the development <strong>of</strong> a manufactured home park, or a manufactured home subdivision.<br />

A manufactured home park <strong>of</strong>fers spaces for the placement <strong>of</strong> manufactured home units on a lease<br />

or rental basis. Manufactured home subdivisions include individually platted lots, for sale within the<br />

subdivision, for the placement <strong>of</strong> manufactured home units. The District establishes area and<br />

design requirements for both parks and subdivisions, as well as yard requirements for individual<br />

lots.<br />

(B) Permitted Uses<br />

Uses permitted in the MH – Manufactured Home District are outlined in Subsection 3.01. Use <strong>of</strong><br />

Land and Buildings (Page 84).<br />

(C) Area Regulations<br />

Property and buildings shall conform to the related standards listed within 2.06.04. Residential<br />

Districts Development Standards (Page 81).<br />

(D) Special District Requirements<br />

(1) Area for Manufactured Home Park or a Recreational Vehicle Park<br />

a. Minimum, five (5) acres; maximum, twenty-five (25) acres<br />

(2) Minimum Average Vertical Clearance <strong>of</strong> Manufactured Home Frame above Finished Ground<br />

Elevation<br />

a. Eighteen (18) inches<br />
