Conference on Powering Towards the Future in Kolkata
The Conference on ‘Powering Towards the Future in
Kolkata.’ Provided a unique platform to learn, discuss
and exchange major structural, technical, managerial and
regulatory challenges in the power sector. Mr Nirupam
Sen, Minister for Power, West Bengal, was the Chief
Guest. Eminent dignitaries including Mr Malay Kumar
De, Principal Secretary, Power & NES, West Bengal,
and Chairman & Managing Director, West Bengal State
Electricity Distribution Company Ltd., Mr Prasad Ranjan
Roy, Chairperson, West Bengal Electricity Regulatory
Commission, and Mr R V Shahi, Former Power Secretary,

Doing Business with South Australia
9 November, Kolkata
CII Eastern Region and the India Representative Office of
CII Eastern Region organised an interactive session with
Rear Admiral S Kulshrestha, Director General of Naval
Armament Inspection (DGNAI), Indian Navy in Kolkata.
The objective of the session was to brief the participants
on the specific requirements of Naval Armaments and
associated areas.
