cell. A <strong>solar</strong> cell mainly consists <strong>of</strong> a diode, whose ideal forward current-voltage<br />

relationship (i.e., 1-V curve) can be expressed as:<br />

where Ι is the dark current;<br />

β = (q/kT), q is the elementary charge, k is Boltzmann's constant, T is the<br />

absolute temperature, <strong>and</strong> V is voltage.
