Staff<br />
Third grade EXCEL teacher Lisa Morgan from Image<br />
Elementary School received the Council of Educational<br />
Facility Planners International (CEFPI) Innovative<br />
Educator-Environmental Based Learning Award. The<br />
award honors teachers for impacting students by utilizing<br />
educational environments in new and innovative ways.<br />
Morgan will receive a $1,500 financial reward and<br />
present at the CEFPI conference June 6, in Spokane, WA.<br />
Shahala Middle School teacher/librarian Paul Warner<br />
was featured on author Janet Lee Carey website “Library<br />
Lions” recently. The site focuses on some of the best<br />
school libraries and librarians in the country and shares<br />
what they are doing to help students. Warner’s interview<br />
is showcased in her blog post entitled “The Great<br />
