Seeking out OCSEA veterans and encouraging them to apply for the
benefits they are due was the main theme at the 2012 OCSEA Veterans
Committee Conference, held in Columbus at OCSEA Headquarters.
Speakers Chuck Studebaker, a volunteer with the Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans
Hospital, and Bill Hartnett, the first Director of Veterans Services in Ohio,
revealed that only one in 10 veterans have signed up for benefits. They encouraged
veterans to take advantage of what they are entitled to by registering with
the Ohio Veterans Administration.
