AWP has experience providing workplace services to organizations<br />
with safety sensitive employees for over 14 years. AWP develops<br />
drug-free workplace policies and procedures integrated with current<br />
human resource policies that will meet all applicable state and federal<br />
requirements, including U.S. Department <strong>of</strong> Transportation (DOT)<br />
regulations. One way that AWP provides protection measures is through<br />
its training on drug and alcohol awareness.<br />

Temporary Disability Income Protection<br />
<strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong><br />
Temporary Disability Income Protection Plan<br />
(For Management <strong>Employee</strong>s Only)<br />
This plan is provided by the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong> and is designed for<br />
management employees who are temporarily disabled and are expected<br />
to return to work. This program is not intended as a long-term disability,<br />
or salary continuance plan.<br />
Definition <strong>of</strong> Management <strong>Employee</strong>s<br />
• All full-time management and executive pay plan employees<br />
• All full-time <strong>City</strong> Council appointees<br />
• All full-time employees in the <strong>City</strong> Auditor’s pay plan<br />
• All full-time employees in the Municipal Counselor’s pay plan<br />
Effective Date<br />
All qualified employees are covered by the Plan on their first day on<br />
the job. It is not necessary to complete enrollment paperwork for this<br />
program.<br />
<strong>Benefit</strong>s<br />
A benefit in the amount equal to 60% <strong>of</strong> the employee’s basic earnings<br />
is payable monthly to an eligible employee. The maximum amount <strong>of</strong><br />
benefits payable to any employee is $3,000 per month and the maximum<br />
benefit period is 36 months.<br />
