Dr. Sarah McKoin is

of Bands at Texas Tech
University. Prior to her
appointment at Texas Tech,
she was Director of Bands
at UMKC Conservatory,
SUNY (Buffalo), and SUNY
(Fredonia). Her bands have
appeared at many major
conferences in the US.
A s a n a c t i v e g u e s t
conductor and clinician,
McKoin has appeared at
TMEA, Iowa, and Florida.
Her commitment to new
music has resulted in
premiers of works by Lukas
Foss, Chen Yi, and others.
Her DMA degree is from
the University of Texas
(Austin).
