Patricia Bourne is a veteran<br />

music educator who has<br />

taught preschool through<br />

graduate level students over<br />

the span of twenty–nine<br />

years in four states. During<br />

her tenure as a teacher, she<br />

has presented workshops<br />

throughout the country.<br />

Bourne has conducted many<br />

region and all-state choruses,<br />

as well as judging secondary<br />

vocal solo and ensembles<br />

throughout the Northwest.<br />

Bourne received the BME<br />

degree from Murray State<br />

University, her MME from<br />

the University of <strong>Oklahoma</strong><br />

and completed the EdD from<br />

Arizona State University.<br />

Patty is the author of two<br />

texts: Inside the Classroom:<br />

Teaching the Art with Heart,<br />

and Inside the Elementary<br />
