Valerie Lippoldt-Mack<br />

Valerie Lippoldt Mack is Chair<br />

of <strong>Music</strong> and dance instructor<br />

at Butler Community College<br />

in El Dorado, Kansas. Her<br />

choreography has been featured<br />

at Carnegie Hall, Disney World,<br />

national ACDA conventions<br />

and MENC workshops. A noted<br />

clinician, adjudicator and<br />

director, she has presented<br />

and adjudicated more than 800<br />

workshops and festivals. Valerie<br />

and her husband Tom, direct<br />

the annual Butler Showchoir<br />

Showcase each summer in El<br />

Dorado, Kansas.<br />

Her best-selling books include<br />

favorite team-building activities<br />

and fun games.These how to<br />

books cover every aspect of<br />

staging a choir to auditioning,<br />

hiring a choreographer, dancing<br />

with style, recruiting males and<br />

dealing with stage moms<br />

At Butler, Valerie directs the<br />

Butler Headliners Showchoir,<br />

the Smorgaschords Barbershop<br />

Quartet, co-directs the <strong>12</strong>0-voice<br />

Butler Concert Choir and teaches<br />

tap dance, choreography, and<br />

private voice. Honored as a<br />

Butler Master Teacher, Valerie<br />

is in demand as a motivational<br />

speaker for numerous events.<br />

In her spare time, Valerie<br />

teaches at the Kansas Dance<br />

Academy; directs the Lutheran<br />

Church Choir; is on the <strong>Music</strong><br />

Theatre of Wichita board of<br />

directors; and does region<br />

commercial and TV work,
