Prof. Univ. Dr. Dragos Stanciu, „Carol Davila” University,
Bucharest
Born on 17 th of August 1947. He is currently professor at the Faculty
of Dentistry, "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy,
Bucharest. He is the Head of Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial
orthopedics in the same university. He is a member of
professional associations: Member of Romanian Society of Dentistry,
Founding member of the Romanian National Association of
Orthodontics and its vicepresident since the founding of it untill 2004,
founding member of the Edgewise College - Cluj, Member of International Association of
Orthodontics based in New York, Member of European Society of Orthodontics, Member
of the French Society of Dento-facial Orthopedics, Member of the "Charles Tweed"
Foundation for Orthodontic Research and Education. Owner of five patents for
inventions and innovations in the orthodontic field, he published more books and
scientific papers, also having an intense participation both at home and abroad
congresses.
