Christmas Tree<br />
Lighting<br />
The <strong>St</strong>. <strong>James</strong> Chamber of Commerce held their<br />
annual Christmas Tree Lighting at the Gazebo on<br />
Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 4 p.m. The beautiful<br />
but cold day brought a huge crowd to celebrate<br />
this annual event. Santa arrived on schedule via<br />
<strong>St</strong>. <strong>James</strong> Fire Truck. Cookies and hot chocolate<br />
were available to all as were candy canes and<br />
coloring books for the kids. Pictures with Santa<br />
were a big hit.<br />
Rev. Neil Mittelstaedt from the <strong>St</strong>. <strong>James</strong><br />
Lutheran Church led the group in prayer and song.<br />
Thanks to Hither Brook Nursery for supplying<br />
Santa’s special chair and tree. Thanks to Chris at<br />
Lake Village Deli for making the hot chocolate and to Scott Posner of Edward<br />
Jones for supplying the festive holiday music. Thanks to King Kullen<br />
for their generous supply of cookies, and special thanks to the Girl Scouts<br />
of Troop 2185, <strong>St</strong>. <strong>James</strong>, who decorated the tree at the <strong>St</strong>. <strong>James</strong> Gazebo.<br />
