Dr. Marc Taczanowski Advances to Next Level
of Olympic Sports Medicine Program
Dr. Marc Taczanowski, DC,
CCSP, CSCS, ARTc, of St. James,
recently advanced to the next
level of the Sports Medicine Volunteer
Program of the U.S.
Olympic Committee. His advancement
may include invitations
to work a specific National
Governing Body (NGB) camp or
competition at: an Olympic
Training Center (OTC), Olympic
Training Site, Domestic camp,
National or Regional event, or
work at a USOC supported
event such as: the World University
Games, Paralympic Events,
Pan American Games, or
Olympic Games. Future invitations
are based on the needs of
NGB’s and the USOC, the availability
of positions at sporting
events and the qualifications of
all sports medicine volunteers.
“I was overjoyed to learn of
my advancement in the USOC
program. This adds significant
validity to my work and justifies
the time and money spent on
continuing education. I humbly
consider this a great honor and
achievement,” states Dr.
Taczanowski.
Dr. Marc Taczanowski,
C.C.S.P., A.R.T.c., has been practicing
in St. James since October
of 2004 with his wife Dr. Hope
Miller, C.C.S.P., at True Sport
Care, located at 631 Lake Avenue.
They specialize in peak
performance and injury management
for all ages. Dr.
Taczanowski is a certified practitioner
of the Active Release
Technique (ART) and Graston
