KIDS” program by offering a special

When a soldier falls on the field
of battle, helping to safeguard our
freedom and the safety of our
country, we can show our respect
by flying the flag of our nation at
half-staff.
Our Governor sends a notice
when State buildings are to fly the
flag at half-staff on a designated
day for a named soldier. Those of
Half Staff Program
us who have a flag that we can put
at half-staff should follow the lead
and do the same. This can be
schools, businesses, individuals,
stores, fire houses, or any location
with a suitable flag pole flying the
US Flag.
