The public agency CNIPA (Centro Nazi<strong>on</strong>ale per l’Informatica nella<br />

Pubblica Amministrazi<strong>on</strong>e - Nati<strong>on</strong>al Centre for IT in Government)<br />

designed the implementati<strong>on</strong> rules for the Stanca law, including the<br />

general operati<strong>on</strong>al and organisati<strong>on</strong>al practices for achieving<br />

<strong>accessibility</strong>, the procedures for c<strong>on</strong>formity assessment, and the<br />

market surveillance methods.<br />

Several organizati<strong>on</strong>s recognized by the Italian government and<br />

listed by the Nati<strong>on</strong>al Centre for Informatics in Public Administrati<strong>on</strong><br />

The drempelvrij.nl quality mark has been set up at the request of<br />

and in cooperati<strong>on</strong> with the Dutch government and all stakeholders<br />

involved. The Bartiméus Accessibility Foundati<strong>on</strong> led the project,<br />

but transferred it to the drempelvrij.nl Quality Mark Foundati<strong>on</strong> in<br />

2005. The drempelvrij.nl Quality Mark Foundati<strong>on</strong> took resp<strong>on</strong>sibility<br />

from then <strong>on</strong>wards for guaranteeing the quality and transparency of<br />

the Quality Mark and related documents with all stakeholders.<br />

Fifteen organizati<strong>on</strong>s c<strong>on</strong>tributed to the creati<strong>on</strong> of the drempelvrij.nl<br />

quality mark. The quality mark includes an inspecti<strong>on</strong> service<br />

offered by accredited third parties and a resulting logo specifying<br />

the achieved <strong>accessibility</strong> level. This quality mark uses the UWEM<br />

evaluati<strong>on</strong> methodology<br />

AENOR is the Spanish Standards Body. AENOR offers a <strong>web</strong> site<br />

<strong>accessibility</strong> certificati<strong>on</strong> scheme, which c<strong>on</strong>forms to EN<br />
