Committee Farewell
A huge thank you and farewell to Stephanie
Sidoruk from all of the committee. Stephanie has
volunteered for CAPC for the last six years. Stephanie
initially took on the role of Marketing Coordinator
but moved on shortly after to fill some
vacant roles and has been coordinating our Childbirth
Educators and Coffee Group placements.
We always have vacancies to fill. Please take a
look at them on page 12 and consider joining us in
bringing the excellent range of Parents Centre services
to Auckland parents.

Grants Acknowledgment
Central Auckland Parents Centre would like to say
a big ‘thank you’ to the following organisation for
their generous support. Their generosity assists
CAPC to continue to offer relevant courses with
up to date resources.
United Way A grant of $3,450 was received to enable
us to recognise the volunteer hosts for our
next 15 antenatal courses.
TENS machine hire
A TENS machine can help reduce your pain
during labour and childbirth.
We have seven TENS machines available for hire
by our members. You can make a booking for the
two weeks prior to your due date until two weeks
post. All machines are hired with new pads.
Please supply your own 9 volt batteries.
Cost: $50.00 plus $50.00 bond. Your bond will be
refunded within 7 working days.
You are responsible for collecting and returning
the TENS machine. We appreciate that early days
with your baby are busy, but as others are waiting
to hire the machine, we ask that you return it as
promptly as possible.
