Los Angeles—The hard <strong>part</strong> about<br />

grinding, sharpening, or pol<strong>is</strong>hing <strong>is</strong> that a<br />

technician can’t see <strong>the</strong> work surface<br />

because <strong>the</strong> abrasive d<strong>is</strong>c gets in <strong>the</strong> way,<br />

said Anie Piliguian, CEO and developer <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> JoolTool and Coolview see-through<br />

d<strong>is</strong>cs.<br />

Unlike a grinder or sander where a<br />

technician has to work, stop, look, work,<br />

stop, look, <strong>the</strong> JoolTool allows <strong>the</strong>m to see<br />

<strong>the</strong> surface as it <strong>is</strong> being worked on while<br />

it’s in contact with <strong>the</strong> abrasive, she said.<br />

“What makes <strong>the</strong> JoolTool so<br />

revolutionary <strong>is</strong> a series <strong>of</strong> curved and<br />

straight slots in <strong>the</strong> backing d<strong>is</strong>c and pads<br />

that allow you to actually see through <strong>the</strong><br />

spinning d<strong>is</strong>c,” Piliguian said.<br />

The patented JoolTool see-through d<strong>is</strong>c<br />

are available in a broad assortment <strong>of</strong><br />

abrasive materials and attach to <strong>the</strong> JoolTool<br />

A four-inch Coolview d<strong>is</strong>c kit, designed<br />

for angle grinders, <strong>is</strong> also available and<br />

includes <strong>the</strong> backing plate, an abrasive d<strong>is</strong>c,<br />
