tions. AVW-Telav has also named Pete Sackel
director of sales at the Orlando branch.
Most recently, Sackel was VP of sales and
marketing with ProStage in Orlando.
Wendy Long has been named director
of marketing for the Da-Lite Screen

Wendy will be
responsible for
all of Da-Lite’s
i n t e r n a t i o n a l
and domestic
marketing activities
for both
the commercial
and home theatre
markets.
Wendy most

at Da-Lite.

In his new position, Blake will be responsible
for writing a new series of white papers
entitled “Angles of Reflection,” which
will focus on the various aspects of systems
design and display. In addition, this new position
will involve design training for audio
visual systems dealers and consultants.
Gear-Source, Inc. has awarded Henry
Kones the expanded title of VP of sales
and special accounts. Henry will continue
to work from his home office in Orlando,
Florida, but will spend more time visiting
the company’s headquarters in Wellington.
The company is currently interviewing
candidates for two new sales / listing positions
based either in Florida or the West
Coast, both reporting directly to Henry.
Also, Cynthia Viteri has been promoted to
senior sales director, and will be taking on
additional sales responsibilities.
High End Systems hired Zach Peletz
as a product support specialist. Peletz has
worked for Northern Lights (San Leandro),
Musson (Santa Clara) and Shakespeare
Santa Cruz (UC-Santa Cruz).

team at Hoffman Communications, Inc. as account
executive.

she was director
of admissions.
Lastly, Hoffman
has named Dan
Rowles director

services. Rowles
brings to Hoffman
20 years of
production experience
in the
audio and video
broadcast industry,
and was
a contributing
writer, producer
and director of Prairie Home Companion,
Dan Rowles
where four of his projects earned Grammy
Award nominations.

Designs LLC
as a lighting
designer and
project manager.
