ODUCT CARE AND MAINTENAN<br />

When you finish using <strong>Showtime</strong> <strong>Karaoke</strong> ST2, always clean it before storing it away. Simply use the enclosed<br />

microfiber cloth to clean all parts. Do not use any type of solvents or alcohol, it may damage the device.<br />

Storage:<br />

Always store <strong>Showtime</strong> <strong>Karaoke</strong> ST2 properly. Keep it at normal room temperature that does not fluctuate widely.<br />

Do not store next to a heater or an air conditioning unit. Exposure to extreme temperatures or temperature<br />

fluctuations may cause condensation inside the product, which may damage the device. If you notice<br />

condensation on the device, do not use it. Set in a dry area with room temperature until the condensation<br />

disappears. Do not use a hair dryer to dry the unit.

There are 2 different modes.<br />

Press the MODE button to switch between modes<br />

1) Auxiliary Input Mode<br />

Will only work with audio devices connected via the (10.AUX IN) port using a 0.13inch / 3.5mm mini jack<br />

cable<br />

2) Dock Mode<br />

Will only work when an iPod or iPhone is docked in the cradle<br />

‐ Connect AC adapter from (9.DC jack) of ST2 KARAOKE UNIT to the power socket<br />

‐ Connect AV cable from ST2 KARAOKE UNIT ( 8. AV OUT) to TV & Hi Fi system or Amplified speakers<br />

How to connect :<br />

There is a AV cable with 1 plug (black color)to 3 plug (yellow, red & white). Connect black plug to ST2 KARAOKE<br />

UNIT (8. AV OUT) and connect yellow plug to Video in of TV , connect red & white plug to Audio‐in of TV , Hi Fi<br />

system or Amplified Speaker.<br />

1. To charge iPhone/iPod:<br />

Put iPhone /iPod into cradle of ST2 KARAOKE UNIT. iPhone/iPod and battery is charged automatically.<br />

2. To play music:<br />

Put your iPhone/iPod into the cradle of ST2 KARAOKE UNIT and select your desired song from your<br />

iPhone/iPod library and music will play from your Hi Fi Speakers.<br />

3. For <strong>Karaoke</strong>:<br />

Press (2. VIDEO) button to select video from TV or iPhone/iPod.<br />

Songs source:<br />

1) Buy & download from www.thekaraokechannel.<strong>com</strong> or www.ikostore.<strong>com</strong><br />

2) Download <strong>Karaoke</strong> songs from your KTV DVD to iPhone/iPod via iTunes<br />

3) Download musical apps under iMusicTech or <strong>Showtime</strong> brand through App store or YouTube


HOW TO USE TROUBLESHOOTING<br />

1) There is no picture on screen when connecting to my Television<br />

Use the cable supplied to connect the ST2 KARAOKE UNIT to the TV via the (8.AV OUT) socket on the rear of<br />

the unit and plug in to the AV INPUT on your TV (should be standard red, white & yellow sockets)<br />

Some TVs might only have a SCART input available. In this case, you will need a SCART ADAPTOR that will<br />

need to be purchased separately.<br />

2) The microphone volume is too low<br />

To maximize the microphone volume, you should reduce the music volume using the main Volume Control<br />

on the top of the unit and increase the microphone volume. This should help balance the volume of the<br />

microphones to the volume of the music.<br />

3) When I dock my iPhone, the screen displays an error message:<br />

“This Accessory Is Not Supported For iPhone”<br />

This error can usually be fixed simply by removing the iPhone from the dock for a few seconds and then<br />

re‐connecting.<br />

4) I am getting no sound from the unit<br />

Please check if your iPod / iPhone is docked correctly, a music video file is playing properly and be sure to<br />

turn the volume up. The sound from the unit will stop once the unit is connected to a TV via the (8.AV OUT)<br />

Please disconnect the AV cable if the TV is turned off.

Q.1) How do I get karaoke tracks on my iPhone/iPod?<br />

You can easily download karaoke tracks for your iPhone/iPod from<br />

(i) Buy & download from website: www.thekaraokechannel.<strong>com</strong> and www.ikostore.<strong>com</strong><br />

Tracks can be downloaded in full MP4 video format with moving on screen lyrics, or MP3 Audio only for<br />

non‐video capable iPhone/iPods.<br />

(ii) Streaming from free App of “iMusicworld”<br />

(iii)Streaming from YouTube. Search artists/tracks/karaoke.<br />

(iv)Download KTV songs from your KTV DVD to iPhone/iPod via iTunes.<br />

Q.6) How to connect to a television or Hi Fi system?<br />

There is an AV cable with 1 plug (black color) to 3 plugs (yellow, red & white). Connect black plug to the<br />

device (8.AV OUT) and connect yellow plug to Video in of TV, connect red & white plug to Audio‐in of TV, Hi<br />

Fi system or Amplify Speaker.<br />

Q.2) How to change the video from TV to iPhone/iPod screen?<br />

If you are not connecting the unit to a TV and would like the video to be shown on the iPhone/iPod screen,<br />

press and hold the 8.VIDEO key to switch the TV output ON & OFF.<br />

Q.3) How can I switch the singing/vocals from my existing songs?<br />

Press the 1.Vocal key to turn the Vocal ON and OFF when playing multiple karaoke tracks.<br />

Press once – left channel only<br />

Press once – right channel only<br />

Press once – left/right channel together<br />

Q.4) Could I use wireless microphone?<br />

Sure, you can easily plug in a wireless microphone receiver to the microphone Jack.<br />

Q.5) I am getting no sound.<br />

Please check your iPhone/iPod is docked correctly & a music or video file is playing. Also making sure the<br />

volume is turned up.<br />

Please note when the device is connected to a TV via the AV out connection, the sound from the device will<br />

stop.<br />

When you’re not using your TV please disconnect the AV out cable.<br />

Q.7) Can I improve the resolution quality of the video?<br />

No. The resolution quality of the video is based on the video sources, so we cannot improve it. The only<br />

solution is to download HD video or an alternative.<br />

Q.8) I have some MP4 video files, how do I transfer them to my iPhone/iPod?<br />

You need to import the MP4 files into your iTunes library which should then transfer them to your<br />

iPhone/iPod.<br />

To do this, open iTunes and click File>Add File to Library<br />

Then just located your video file and click OK<br />

Next Time you connect your iPhone/iPod to your <strong>com</strong>puter the files should automatically transfer across.<br />

Q.9) Can I play the MP4 constantly?<br />

No. iPhone/iPod does not provide such function.<br />

Q.10) Can I remove the singing / vocals from my existing songs?<br />

No. The vocal removal function on the ST2 KARAOKE UNIT will only work with Multiplex style karaoke<br />

tracks. Multiplex is a special type of karaoke track where the vocals have been recorded on only one<br />

channel. So they can be easily removed.

Read all instructions and warnings prior to using this product. Improper use of this product may result in product<br />

damage, excess heat, toxic fumes, fire or explosion, which are your responsibility.<br />

1) Do not put near any heat source, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or any other apparatus that<br />

2) Be cautious of excessive drops, bumps, abrasions or other impacts to this product. If there is any damage to<br />

this product such as dents, punctures, tears, deformities of corrosion, due to any cause, please discontinue<br />

use or dispose of in an appropriate manner.<br />

3) Only use the product in a moderate climate. Store in a cool or a dry area.<br />

4) Do not change or modify this product in any way.<br />

90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY ON SHOWTIME KARAOKE® (ST2)<br />

ST2 is warranted by Interactive Group Limited to the original purchaser for a period of 90 days from the original<br />

purchase date – under normal use and service against defective workmanship and materials.<br />

This warranty is void if ST2 has been damaged by accident or unreasonable use, neglect, misuse, abuse,<br />

improper service or other causes not arising out of defects in workmanship or materials.<br />

Interactive Group Limited shall not be liable for the loss of use of ST2 or other incidental or consequential costs,<br />

expenses or damages incurred by the purchaser. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of<br />

incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.<br />

During the warranty period, ST2, if found to be defective due to workmanship or materials, will either be<br />

repaired or replaced with a reconditioned ST2 of an equivalent quality (at Interactive Group Limited) without<br />

charge to the purchaser when returned, shipping prepaid to Interactive Group Limited with proof of purchase<br />

date to the address listed below. In the event that ST2 is replaced, the replacement will be continued on the<br />

original warranty or 30 days, whichever is longer.<br />

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.<br />

Disposal<br />

After the implementation of European Directive 2002 / 96 / EU, the following applies: Electrical and electronic<br />

or designated points of sale. However, such details are defined by the national law of the respective country.<br />
