3.4.4. Areas of <strong>pain</strong><br />

I asked the patient to mark her <strong>pain</strong> in the corresponding areas on a body chart (see<br />

fig. 3O). The following six areas of the body were defined:<br />

o Lower lumbar spine and transversely across the <strong>back</strong><br />

o PSIS left<br />

o PSIS right<br />

o Pubic symphysis and ventrally in the lower abdomen<br />

o Buttocks and left leg<br />

o Buttocks and right leg<br />
