At present, artistic manifestation of <strong>Glitch</strong>-alikes, rely heavily on audio-visual<br />
simulation. The <strong>Glitch</strong> in sensory experience is an area that has yet to be explored,<br />
not just in relation to art and science but even relation to e-commerce and<br />
delivering online sensory experiences, where some work has already been done.<br />
The coarseness or textural inconsistency of a fabric, which can be perhaps felt in<br />
real life but not on an e-commerce website, could in the future be conveyed<br />
using output devices that try to mimic those very qualities.<br />
Logitech’s “IFeel technology” on a range of their mice offered limited but<br />
interesting feedback in the form of vibrations that were triggered in relation to on<br />
screen topography.<br />
