Welsh College of Music
and Drama is the home of
the Junior Conservatoire.
From their very first
steps in music through to
intensive preparation for
conservatoire-level training,
the Junior Conservatoire
offers opportunities for
children and young people
to learn in a supportive
environment, and to realise
their full musical potential.

Drama classes for ages
12–20 at RWCMD
The Young Actors Studio
offers the highest quality
acting classes for 12-20
year olds who have a
passion for theatre and
performance. Acting
Courses for 16-20 year olds,
provide students with an
insight into drama school
training working alongside
RWCMD tutors and industry
professionals. Theatre
Workshop classes offer
those students aged 12-18
an opportunity to explore a
range of drama techniques
and build their confidence
in a fun and supportive
workshop environment led
by specialist tutors. Both
classes meet every Sunday
in term time at RWCMD..

We are pleased to offer a
wide range of opportunities
for people of all ages to
benefit from the specialist
training we offer. In addition
to our programme of
Summer Schools, we also
offer individual music lessons
for students of all standards,
and host a growing number
of groups including two
Community Choirs.

of outreach activities
including workshops and
performances for schools
and community groups
across Wales.
