and original new play about
our connections to the dead
- and why they matter.
Harry Parr Davies and
Marguerite Monnot
Written and directed by
Chris Morgan
Harry Parr Davies was a
George Formby, Jessie
Matthews, Jack Buchanan
and many others. His songs
have an evocative naive
the other side of the Channel,
Marguerite Monnot was
writing emotionally charged
songs for Edith Piaf. Monnot
later went on to write the
musical Irma La Douce.
Some of the songs will be
familiar, but many are
waiting to be rediscovered.
Michael Roulston
Directed by Russell Lucas
Julie Andrews’ songs from
musicals including Mary
intertwined with stories and
anecdotes about Andrews’
own life, from her beginnings
as a child star to the recent
challenges of losing her
famous singing voice. What
emerges is a delightfully
funny and candid love letter
to a true show business
survivor. Through the eyes
and voice of award-winning
singer, West End actress and
Fascinating Aïda star Sarah-
