5.4.1.4 Bats<br />

A total of 45 individuals were caught during 1548 net-metre-hours of trapping in <strong>Mgambo</strong> FR.<br />

These individuals represented potentially 10 species from 4 families. Seventeen individuals were<br />

retained for taxonomic purposes. A summary of trapping data is shown in Appendix 8 and a<br />

species list presented in Table 24. Identifications remain tentative while awaiting taxonomic<br />

verification from Frankfurt Zoological Museum (refer to Appendix 1).<br />
