SANTEC VTC-8000 camera series: Technology<br />
The cameras provi<strong>de</strong> a technical innovation: the new built-in G-Sensor. This sensor has two main functions:<br />
• It <strong>de</strong>tects if the camera has been moved or turned out of position after it has been installed.<br />
Thus the G-sensor provi<strong>de</strong>s a sabotage and position protection.<br />
• It serves as an electronic water level (displayed via LED) which is an optical tool to assist the user during the installation phase of the camera.<br />

If the camera is moved or sabotaged by a hit, the built-in 3G-sensor triggers an alarm. A respective note is displayed in the <strong>vi<strong>de</strong>o</strong> picture and an<br />
output contact is activated for a <strong>de</strong>fined period of time. In addition, the built-in LEDs indicate in different colours the status of the camera.<br />

The range of the built-in IR-LEDs strongly <strong>de</strong>pend on the location and the surroundings. Strongly absorbent surfaces,<br />
e.g. dark, rough structures (floor, lawn or asphalt) may lead to a consi<strong>de</strong>rable reduction of the maximum range.<br />
