34 S A S K AT C H E W A N F I S H I N G & H U N T I N G O U T F I T T E R S 2 0 1 2 SaSkatchewan OutfitterS The Directory of Saskatchewan Outfitters contains an alphabetical listing of outfitting camps by lake/community, with detailed descriptions on the services provided by the camps. Outfitters rent equipment and offer guide services for fishing, canoeing, hunting, and other recreational activities. They often provide accommodation as well. Services vary from camp to camp, but most outfitters rent equipment like boats, outboard motors, and canoes. Many sell licences, offer guide services, operate tackle shops, and provide freezing service, upon request. Many outfitters have established outposts or day camps, usually in the vicinity of their base camps. These generally offer fewer facilities than base camps. Your camp operator will be able to arrange transportation to and from these more remote spots. All outfitters listed in this guide are licensed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment.
