Junior Leadership Class:
A welcome letter from Principal, Paula Reay at Trout Creek Elementary to Vice-Principal, Donna Moroz at
Summerland Secondary thanking her for a presentation (from the Junior Leadership Class) that they put on
for Trout Creek and Summerland Middle School.
The Junior Leaders of SSS did a great job engaging the Trout Creek students in a range of activities to
develop their understanding of self-esteem. The Leaders were full of energy and established a strong
rapport with our kids. I was so impressed by the way they spoke to individual students and
encouraged/supported kids to participate. The Leaders were very well prepared and comfortable presenting
in front of both large and small groups.
I know the program took a lot of work by yourself in order for it to run smoothly and to be so worthwhile so
thank you for all you did. It was exciting to see the positive interaction and learning that occurred between
these varied age groups.
