Keyless Delayed Locking
You can program your power door
locks to delay locking until everyone
has gotten out of the vehicle
and closed their doors.
Ten seconds after the last door is
closed, all the doors will lock if at
least one keyless access transmitter
has been removed from the
vehicle.
The ignition must be off for this
feature to work.
Note:
To temporarily disable this
feature, open a door and then
press and hold the unlock
button on the power door lock
switch for three seconds.
Passive door locking will be
disabled until you press the lock
button on the power door lock
switch or the ignition is turned
on.
To program this feature on or off:

The default factory setting is
"off".
1. Enter the PERSONAL SET-
TINGS MENU.
See "Entering Programming
Mode" earlier in this section.
2. Rotate the tune/select knob to
highlight the following item:
- KEYLESS LOCK DELAY
Press the tune/select knob to
toggle this feature on and off.
A mark will appear next to the
feature name when this feature
is turned on.
3. You may now either exit programming
mode or program
the next available feature.
To exit programming mode,
see "Exiting the Personal Settings
Menu" later in this
section.
If you would prefer to program
additional features rather than
exiting programming mode,
just press F6, or BACK, to go
back to the personal settings
menu.
