Stacy Springfield Williams’ ‘83 daughter, Tyler, just finished<br />

her freshman year at <strong>Seton</strong>. She will be participating in Hoops<br />

Sagrado, an exchange program in Guatemala, over the summer.<br />

While there, Tyler will have Spanish lessons in the mornings and<br />

basketball tournaments and camps in the afternoon.<br />

Class of 1968: Our 40th reunion is being held on June 28 at<br />

Manor Country Club in Rockville, MD from 5:00--8:00 p.m. On<br />

June 29, we will gather at ESHS for an 11:00 a.m. Mass in the<br />

chapel followed by light refreshments and a tour of the school.<br />

On March 30, 2008, <strong>Seton</strong> held its first Hall of Fame Ceremony.<br />

Nancy Rhodes Hernick ‘74, Maureen Lonergan, Sister Winifred<br />

McKay, D.C., Dorothy Rothgeb, and Mary Karen Merkel Wills<br />

‘78 became the first members to be inducted. One hundred family<br />

members, friends, and alumnae gathered in the auditorium to<br />

celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the inductees.<br />

celebrating 35 years of<br />

friendship. They became friends with Angie Settle-Glen, an old<br />

neighbor of Marlene’s. The five of them have a little club called<br />

“The 50oooooooo Club” where they get together to support each<br />

other, laugh about elementary school, high school and college.<br />

Dot and Marlene are very proud that their daughters graduated<br />

from <strong>Seton</strong>.<br />

Linda Russo Blanchly ‘75 is the publisher and editor-in-chief<br />

of a travel magazine called Trips & Getaways which focuses on<br />

Mid-Atlantic travel and is distributed throughout the Baltimore-<br />

Washington region. She resides in Gambrills and is the mother<br />

of three. Linda holds a journalism degree from the University of<br />

Maryland.<br />

Class of 1981: You are invited to an informal gathering at the<br />

Greene Turtle in Laurel, Maryland on Saturday, October 18,<br />

2008, starting at 5pm. No payment in advance is required, just<br />

show up if you’re interested. The Class of 1981 from DeMatha<br />

has been invited that evening as well as the <strong>Seton</strong> and DeMatha<br />

classes of 1982.<br />

Class of 1988: It’s time to celebrate 20 years!! The reunion<br />

will be on November 8, 2008 and is tentatively scheduled at the<br />

Chart House Restaurant in Annapolis. If you have any questions,<br />

Class of 1998: The reunion will be at the Federal House in Annapolis<br />
