Stacy Springfield Williams’ ‘83 daughter, Tyler, just finished
her freshman year at Seton. She will be participating in Hoops
Sagrado, an exchange program in Guatemala, over the summer.
While there, Tyler will have Spanish lessons in the mornings and
basketball tournaments and camps in the afternoon.
Class of 1968: Our 40th reunion is being held on June 28 at
Manor Country Club in Rockville, MD from 5:00--8:00 p.m. On
June 29, we will gather at ESHS for an 11:00 a.m. Mass in the
chapel followed by light refreshments and a tour of the school.

On March 30, 2008, Seton held its first Hall of Fame Ceremony.
Nancy Rhodes Hernick ‘74, Maureen Lonergan, Sister Winifred
McKay, D.C., Dorothy Rothgeb, and Mary Karen Merkel Wills
‘78 became the first members to be inducted. One hundred family
members, friends, and alumnae gathered in the auditorium to
celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the inductees.

celebrating 35 years of
friendship. They became friends with Angie Settle-Glen, an old
neighbor of Marlene’s. The five of them have a little club called
“The 50oooooooo Club” where they get together to support each
other, laugh about elementary school, high school and college.
Dot and Marlene are very proud that their daughters graduated
from Seton.
Linda Russo Blanchly ‘75 is the publisher and editor-in-chief
of a travel magazine called Trips & Getaways which focuses on
Mid-Atlantic travel and is distributed throughout the Baltimore-
Washington region. She resides in Gambrills and is the mother
of three. Linda holds a journalism degree from the University of
Maryland.

Class of 1981: You are invited to an informal gathering at the
Greene Turtle in Laurel, Maryland on Saturday, October 18,
2008, starting at 5pm. No payment in advance is required, just
show up if you’re interested. The Class of 1981 from DeMatha
has been invited that evening as well as the Seton and DeMatha
classes of 1982.
Class of 1988: It’s time to celebrate 20 years!! The reunion
will be on November 8, 2008 and is tentatively scheduled at the
Chart House Restaurant in Annapolis. If you have any questions,

Class of 1998: The reunion will be at the Federal House in Annapolis
on October 11th at 5:00 p.m. The cost is $40 per person.
