6.y.1 Requirements for Blu-ray Disc Read-Only Format (BD-ROM)<br />
A Blu-ray Read-Only disc (BD-ROM) is a Read-Only medium. The BD-ROM File<br />
System Format shall comply with <strong>UDF</strong> revision 2.50 and has the following additional<br />
requirements:<br />
For Volume Structure:<br />
1. The Partition Descriptor Access Type shall be 1 (read-only).<br />
2. Three Anchor Volume Descriptor Pointers should be recorded.<br />
For File Structure:<br />
3. Unallocated Space Table and Unallocated Space Bitmap shall not be recorded.<br />
4. Metadata Bitmap File shall not be recorded.<br />
NOTE: Duplication of Metadata File data is optional. When robustness is required, it is<br />
recommended that duplication is used and that Metadata File and Metadata Mirror File<br />
data and descriptors are recorded at the physically inner radius area and outer radius area,<br />
respectively.<br />
