Cumulative effects of the project on flow throughout Puget Sound will be of keen interest when
evaluating if the project will meet water quality standards.
We will want to know how the project changes flow patterns and velocities because this will have an
effect on:
1. dissolved oxygen, especially in the enclosed bays of south sound and other enclosed bays
2. nutrient distribution (that effects biological activity and therefore oxygen
