#1
We’re mad as hell, we’ve had enough,
we’re not going to take it anymore
Stop government’s wasteful spending.
Stop wasting our tax dollars
Everyone talks about it, when is it going to get done?
Now’s the time.
Massachusetts the second most socialist state
in the country.
Businesses and people are leaving the state in record
numbers because of unreasonably high taxes.
- 47.3 billion Massachusetts state tax budget
- Reduce th budget to 35 billion
- Save 12.5 billion in taxes for the citizens of Massachusetts
- Put $3700 per year back in your pocket
- Eliminate an estimated 41% waste in government spending
- Roll back temporary 5.3% sales tax
- It will help the economy and help create tens of thousands of new jobs
Toll booth collectors making $70,000 per year salary plus pensions and benefits for
the equivalent of a minimum wage job!
“If the administration was really interested in putting an end to this nonsense, they
would tear down the toll booths and propose an increase in the gasoline tax. It costs
less than a penny increase in gas to collect a dollar in tax at the pump. At the tollbooth
it costs approximately 30 cents to collect a dollar.”
Howie Carr - Boston Herald (19 Sep. ’08)
No more broken promises
- Big dig 2.3 billion estimate costing Massachusetts tax payers 22 billion
- Greenway Conservancy - $150 million for 12 million project
- $100 million giveaway to the film industry
- $100,000/year sign hangers
- No show jobs
- Doom sayers said prop 2-1/2 would hurt us, but it only helped
To mention just a few
Channel 4 I-Team:
- City workers driving around in Boston wasting gas and
avoiding work
- Working on private jobs, while they are supposed to be working
- Free gasoline rip-offs by state employees
It is estimated that those who are opposed to question #1 are spending millions, in the vicinity of $10 per vote in advertising.
Advocates in favor of a YES vote on Question #1 are spending approximately 5 cents per vote in advertising, (what does that tell you; and where’s
the money coming from, who benefits)? Who supports this but freeloaders who have the most to gain.
It’s time to put our government under
the microscope
A government of the people,
for the people and by the people
Hold government accountable
Elect politicians who’ll work in the best
interests of the people they are
elected to serve
Get involved… check out this website for starters http://www.smallgovernmentact.org
Winners make things happen. Losers let things happen.
Let’s provide a business friendly atmosphere
to encourage businesses and people
to move back to Massachusetts
