Donations
As a registered charity, we are continually looking for funds both
to run the Festival and to improve it. Donations not only help us
bring in new performers and new works but also go towards our
operating costs. If you would like to make a donation, please
call us on 01748 880018 so we can send you a Gift Aid form to
maximise the value of your donation. Thank you very much.
With a musical
pedigree that
takes in both The
Beautiful South
and the cream of
the British folk
scene, it's not
surprising that
The Hut People
are blazing a trail
across the world
of traditional
song. Armed only
with an accordion
and an array of
drums, cow bells,
and assorted exotic percussion instruments, The Huts take the
best of home-grown folk and mix in influences from Scandinavia
and beyond. Delightful foot-tapping music.
Community and Education
Our outreach programme aims to promote music and the arts to
young people and local communities. This year, musicians will
visit care homes and schools to give recitals and workshops.
There are also community events which have been in
preparation throughout the year. This work is greatly aided by a
number of Trusts and Foundations, and we are profoundly
grateful for their continuing commitment to such projects.
