lovely work,
alongside Haydn’s
masterful Op. 50
No. 6 and Quartet
Op.12 'Arcadiana'
by Thomas Adès (b.
1971), will find
these stunning
young players in
their element.

Richard Brickstock conducts the Swale Singers and guest soloists
in a performance of Mendelssohn’s last masterpiece - his oratorio
Elijah. With its echoes of Bach and Handel, this dramatic work is
bursting with beautiful melodies which will resonate perfectly in
the superb acoustic of Grinton Church.
