Arkengarthdale Methodist Church
Sing Up is a national programme designed to bring singing into
every primary school child's life. Teachers, parents and anyone
who loves singing are invited to have fun working on their skills
and preparing for a performance at 5.00pm
Lunch will be provided. There is no charge and no need to book.

the Festival. After an entertaining talk, there
will be a 'Swaledale Mini-Roadshow', to which
you may bring a treasured item for evaluation.
Very small or large items are inappropriate.

chance to show their antique. Responsibility
for damages and insurance rests with the owners.

For this very special Swaledale Festival event, one of the era’s
great virtuoso violinists presents a varied programme of dramatic
solo pieces - from the fun and technical bravura of Paul
Patterson’s Luslawice Variations to the eerie intensity of Melodia,
from Bartók’s Violin Sonata and the familiar elegance of the
Adagio and Fugue from the G Minor Sonata and Partita No. 3 in E
by JS Bach.
Come and experience the wonderful range of styles and
expressions that Tasmin Little can produce with her single,
unadorned violin.

Festival was the
Heath’s powerful
and moving
performance of
Debussy, Bartók and Beethoven. This time,
joined by virtuoso clarinettist Tom Lessels, they
will perform Mozart's iconic Clarinet Quintet, alongside Brahms's
C Minor Quartet and an intriguing contrast from Webern.
