PROJECT PLANNING AND SCHEDULING
Project Planning and Reviewing is a priority area of Project Implementation in the company.
On time and within Cost Budget is the primary target during execution of projects.
‣ Planning
Defining Activities, Preparing a Work Breakdown Structure and co-ordination between tasks, preparing
work schedules, assigning and allocating resources to the activities, determining project costs and
developing an acceptable cost budget is worked out before the start of the project
‣ Controlling
Track work progress and actual costs, compare physical progress and costs to target, evaluate performance
by updating the schedule on a regular basis and comparing it with the target plan, ensuring optimum
utilization of resources, keeping record of actual work duration and cost. Analyze data via reports and
graphs and take corrective measure if required to prevent time and cost overrun by readjusting the work
schedule and resource allocation
‣ Managing
Communication between project team involved in the execution, controlling managers and management of
the company and the client is of primary importance. Presenting timely and accurate information to the
correct person who can take remedial measures keeps the project on target.
