1. Customer specification:
Long goods package dimensions:
900 x 700 x 5000 mm, weight 3000 kg
Storage on 4 uprights and 5 levels, one package per
shelf
The rack should be set up against one of the room walls

2. Solution:
Arm selection:
– min. length 1000 mm, min. load capacity 3000 kg / 4 cantilever arms
= 750 kg
➔ cantilever arm selected IPE 100 x 1000 mm, load capacity 1010 kg
– for round materials, select cantilever arm with deflector
Upright selection:
– 4 cantilever levels + 1 foot level
– single sided upright load 4 x 750 kg = 3000 kg
– shelf height: height of goods + cantilever arm + clearance
– shelf height selected: 900 mm
– height of upright = 4 x shelf height + foot section
➔ upright IPE 200 selected, single sided, height 4000 mm
