The 10 metre high logistics centre is set out on 1,700 m 2
A META MULTIPAL ® pallet racking system
– For Europallets with a maximum individual weight of 700 kg
– Four levels with a total height of 7.5 metres and 1,620 storage spaces,
to store heavy or bulky items and products in very large quantities.
– Seven single-entry and three double-entry rack rows covering a total
length of 40 metres.
– To shorten the order-picking distances, a number of passageways were
provided between rack rows for the stacker trucks, and integrated in a
system that rises to a height of 3.5 metres.
– There is an explosion-protected hazardous goods store to hold items
identified by the hazardous goods pictogram.
A three-tier META QUICK ® shelving system
– 2.5 metre shelving height on the ground floor and 1st upper tier, and
2.2 metre height on the 2nd upper tier
– The shelving holds around 10,000 items in the widest variety of
industrial supplies and personal protective equipment.
– To speed up the flow of materials through the warehouse, each tier
has a transfer station and access to a platform lift. Staff can also get to
the display area from any of the tiers.
