The industrial supplies wholesaler
Industriebedarf Niemann-Laes has
been providing a wide range of
products to industry and trade
since 1987. Their main focus is
on personal protective equipment,
machinery, tools, and drive
technology. Their headquarters in
Lüneburg employ 25 people.
But Niemann-Laes does not only
collaborate with META for its
own ends. As a productionrelated
trader, the company also
provides operating equipment
and offers the complete META
range.
Mission statement:
Staff walking distances were to be made shorter and the flows of
materials within the company were to be optimised.
Niemann-Laes offers the entire META range. So a 'hands on' storage
solution was to be found where customers could view the storage
solutions directly on location and experience the quality of META
shelving at first hand. From the display area, customers were to be able
to see into the logistics areas.
Some of the plans had to be changed
during the planning phase and even during
the three-week long assembly phase.
