The completion of a Graduation Petition does not<br />
guarantee that a student will graduate. The degree audit<br />
will be completed by the school in which the student<br />
matriculated once the petition is received. The degree<br />
audit will determine eligibility to graduate.<br />
Information about the May Commencement ceremonies<br />
will be available online.<br />
Classroom Reservations<br />
Classroom space on campus is reserved by the Registrar’s<br />
Office. Space is reserved on an as-available basis, and<br />
academic activities have first priority. Other spaces are<br />
reserved by the Conference Center, Lee Center, and<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Development.<br />
Consortium<br />
<strong>Marymount</strong> <strong>University</strong> is a member of the D.C.<br />
Consortium of Universities (www.consortium.org).<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s have the option of taking courses at these<br />
institutions. Special registration forms are located at the<br />
Registrar’s Office. Completed forms must be returned to<br />
the Registrar’s Office at least one week before the start<br />
of the semester.<br />
National <strong>Student</strong> Loan<br />
Clearinghouse<br />
<strong>Student</strong> verification reports are transmitted to the NSLC<br />
four times during the semester. Based on this report,<br />
the student’s lenders are notified of attendance.<br />

<strong>Marymount</strong> has negotiated a great deal on a car rental<br />
program available to the entire university community.<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s may sign up at anytime by visiting www.<br />
hertzondemand.com to receive their access card (required<br />
to access rentals). <strong>Student</strong>s must be 18 years of age, with<br />
a current driver’s license, to join.<br />
Environmentally friendly vehicles can be reserved by the<br />
hour ($8.00 to $11.00/per hour) or by the day. The rental<br />
includes:<br />
• Insurance, including coverage for the Connect car<br />
• GPS Navigation<br />
• iPod Adaptor (Auxiliary Cord)<br />
• Bluetooth Technology<br />
• 24-hour Roadside Assistance<br />
• Support of a 24-hour In-house Member Care<br />
Center<br />
• In-car communication (reach the Member Care<br />
Center with the touch of a button)<br />
The cars are located in the Lodge parking lot.
