ST. PAUL’S DEDICATES<br />
“LUV” VAN<br />
On Wednesday May 16, 2001 <strong>St</strong>. Paul’s <strong>Senior</strong><br />
<strong>Homes</strong> & <strong>Services</strong> gave thanks for it’s auxiliary,<br />
Love Uniting Volunteers (LUV), and dedicated a<br />
new wheel chair accessible van. The van was<br />
provided through the proceeds from the LUV Gala<br />
last August. The van will join the <strong>St</strong>. Paul’s Bus with<br />
the capability to transport Residents in wheel<br />
chairs, saving time and money when small groups<br />
need to be transported. This champagne affair was<br />
not only a dedication but a grateful celebration for<br />
the on going support of the LUV Auxiliary, which<br />
has given in its history over $271,000 to benefit the<br />
Residents of <strong>St</strong>. Paul’s. We invite everyone to the<br />
next LUV Gala, which will be held August 24, 2001<br />
at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina on<br />
Harbor Island.<br />
