Qharles K. Kleiman, manager of the subsequent-run
Rialto. is a showman who
is a firm believer that theatre seats can
be filled if a manager keeps on his toes for
every opportunity. Recently Kleiman was
playing film entitled "Hot Angel." a film
having to do with motorcycle enthusiasts.
He played it two nights to pretty good business.
But the third and final night appeared
a bit dubious from a boxoffice viewpoint.
So he contacted the Bridgeport
Motorcycle Club, which has a fairly large
membership, and arranged an admission
plan that permitted every other member to
see the show free. And the idea filled his
potential empty seats.
