Learn all about this new outdoor activity
that will excite you by finding hidden
new!
“treasure”, bring you to
places in the Twin Cities you
never knew existed all the while being
outdoors and getting great exercise. This
introductory course will teach you all
the basics to get out there and find your
first geocach. If interested, during the
last half hour of class you will have the
opportunity to find a geocach in the
neighborhood. Wear comfortable shoes
for walking. If you have a Smartphone
or GPS - bring it along.

Recreational Sailing
Instruction for Beginners
Harry Mott
Learn the basic techniques of sailing. In
this class you will learn how to tack, and
learn the points of sail, i.e., close reach,
beam reach, etc. Learn about running,
standing and rigging. Learn correct
nautical terms for different parts of the
boat, how to tie knots, anchor, and foot
safety. Life jacket provided. Class
includes two-hours of classroom plus
one full day of sailing/instruction on
Lake Pepin on a 28’ or 35’ sailboat.
Sailing date will be determined in class.
$17 fee for The Complete Sailor
textbook paid to instructor in class.

characteristics of fragrance body oils
directly from aromatherapy ingredients.
This class will introduce traditional and
contemporary aromas while students
learn how to create their very own

Kindergarten Puppy Training

Having problems with your new puppy?
Even if your puppy is a little angel, this
is a good class for early socialization.
This class is intended to teach puppies
good manners. You will be taught a
gentle approach to teach your pup (9 to
16 weeks old by the first week of class)
basic obedience commands as well as
good home behavior. Bring your puppy
on a leash and buckle collar (no flexi
leads please), a recent shot certificate is
required the first night. Handlers must
be 16 years or older. This class is limited
to 8 puppies. Sherry Knez is a member
of NADOI. Please bring treats each
week for your dog.

Basic Dog Obedience

Are you having behavior problems with
your dog? It doesn’t have to be that way.
This class specializes in home behavior
problems as well as all basic obedience
training including teaching your dog to
heel, sit, lie down and come when
called. For dogs over four months old.
Well-behaved dogs are also welcome. A
recent shot certificate is required the
first night, but please leave your dog
at home. Bring your dog to the second
night of class on a leash. Training
equipment and terms will be explained
the first night. Handlers must be 16
