opportunity to find a geocach in the<br />
neighborhood. Wear comfortable shoes<br />

Instruction for Beginners<br />

Learn the basic techniques of sailing. In<br />
this class you will learn how to tack, and<br />
learn the points of sail, i.e., close reach,<br />
beam reach, etc. Learn about running,<br />
standing and rigging. Learn correct<br />
nautical terms for different parts of the<br />
boat, how to tie knots, anchor, and foot<br />
safety. Life jacket provided. Class<br />
includes two-hours of classroom plus<br />
one full day of sailing/instruction on<br />
Lake Pepin on a 28’ or 35’ sailboat.<br />
Sailing date will be determined in class.<br />
$17 fee for The Complete Sailor<br />

Even if your puppy is a little angel, this<br />
is a good class for early socialization.<br />
This class is intended to teach puppies<br />
good manners. You will be taught a<br />
gentle approach to teach your pup (9 to<br />
16 weeks old by the first week of class)<br />
basic obedience commands as well as<br />
good home behavior. Bring your puppy<br />
on a leash and buckle collar (no flexi<br />
leads please), a recent shot certificate is<br />
required the first night. Handlers must<br />
be 16 years or older. This class is limited<br />
to 8 puppies. Sherry Knez is a member<br />

Are you having behavior problems with<br />
your dog? It doesn’t have to be that way.<br />
This class specializes in home behavior<br />
problems as well as all basic obedience<br />
training including teaching your dog to<br />
heel, sit, lie down and come when<br />
called. For dogs over four months old.<br />
Well-behaved dogs are also welcome. A<br />
recent shot certificate is required the<br />
first night, but please leave your dog<br />
at home. Bring your dog to the second<br />
night of class on a leash. Training<br />
equipment and terms will be explained<br />
the first night. Handlers must be 16<br />
