years this initiative should help transform inefficient,<br />

artisanal production into a viable modern<br />

enterprise. This will increase economic opportunities<br />

for poor small-scale farmers, especially<br />

the women who are heavily involved in market<br />

gardening. It will also make more diverse and<br />

nutritious human diets affordable for poor consumers<br />

in this region.<br />
